About the book

Facing the threat of a pandemic, it turns out that our heroes are confronting a far more sinister threat to health and health care. They must overcome many challenges as they unravel this mystery and try to protect the public’s health. Along the way, they also must confront the fundamental problem of a broken American health care system. They learn how it got to be this way, and how to solve this problem- for the fictitious tale of the novel and in real life.
